HP’s recently released dm3z has made quite a splash in the notebook market, generating a large fanbase almost overnight. With its stylish aluminum case and rare combination of low voltage processors and dedicated graphics options, it certainly is a different animal than anything HP has released so far (though the dv2 was similar). I’ve really grown to appreciate this little netbook now that I’ve been able to use it for a few days. I think it’s just the right size for a mini-laptop who’s primary purpose is word processing, internet browsing, and an occasional movie watching (maybe even the occasional video game). The netbook boasts a full-size keybaord, a wealth of track pad real estate, and a 9 hour battery life. First and foremost, let me say that I ordered the UL80VT-A1 because I thought it was simply an awesome idea to have switchable graphics in a laptop because you get excellent battery life + excellent performance when needed. There were no reviews of the UL80VT out when I purchased it, so I purchased the UL80VT-A1 from Xoticpc.com, which has a 100 percent refund on purchases just in case things didn’t work out with me and the new lady. » Read more: Asus UL80VT-A1 Review
